Hamburger Grilling Recipes and Tips #1: The Ranch Burger

(Serves 8)

What you need:

2 pounds of ground beef 1 ounce package of ranch dressing mix 1 lightly beaten egg 1/2 cup of crushed saltine crackers 1 chopped onion Pack of Hamburger Buns

Preheat the grill on high. Mix all contents into a bowl and mix lightly. Take beef and make into a ball about the size of a tennis ball and then flatten into a patty.

Cook each side for about 5 minutes turning only once. Voila! Delicious Ranch Burgers.

Burger Tip: Do not over mix the meat. Over handling makes the meat and resulting burger tougher.

Hamburger Grilling Recipes and Tips #2: The Best Turkey Burger

(Serves 6)

What you need:

1 1/2 Pounds of ground turkey breast 1 ounce package of dry onion soup mix 1/2 Tablespoon of ground black pepper 1/2 tablespoon of garlic powder 2 tablespoons of soy sauce 1 lightly beaten egg (optional) Pack of Hamburger Buns

Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Mix all contents into a bowl. Take about 1/4 pound of ground turkey (about the size of a tennis ball), roll into a ball and flatten into patties.

Lightly oil the grill grates. Throw the patties on the grill and cook each side about 10 minutes turning them only once. When they are finished they will be whitish in color.

Burger Tip: Turkey burgers take about twice as much time than beef burgers to get to the right internal temperature.

Hamburger Grilling Recipes and Tips #3: The Extra Juicy Burger

What you will need:

2 pounds of ground beef 1 lightly beaten egg 3/4 cups of bread crumbs 3 tablespoons of evaporated milk 3 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce 1/8 to 1/4 teaspoon of cayenne pepper 2 minced garlic cloves 1 pack of hamburger buns

Preheat grill to high. Mix all ingredients into a bowl and mix. As before take about 1/4 pound of meat, roll into a ball, and flatten into a patty.

Lightly oil the grill grates and place the patties. Cook each side for about 5 minutes. Voila! One darn juicy burger to enjoy.

Burger Tip: Put an indentation into the middle of the patty before you throw them onto the grill to reduce mid area burger swelling.

Hamburger Grilling Recipes and Tips #4: BBQ Cheddar Burger

(Serves 8)

What you will need:

2 pounds of ground beef 2 teaspoons of course ground pepper 2 tablespoons of Italian seasoning 2 teaspoons of fresh minced garlic (or powder) 1 cup of BBQ sauce 1 cup of shredded white cheddar cheese 1 pack of hamburger buns

Preheat the grill to high. Mix all ingredients Except the BBQ sauce in a bowl. Take about a 1/4 pound of meat per serving roll into a ball and flatten on a plate.

Oil the grate and place the patties on the grill grate. Add BBQ sauce to the top of each burger. Cook for 5 minutes and flip. Add BBQ sauce to the other side of the burger patties. Cook for another 5 minutes.

During the last minute of cooking you can add additional cheese if you like.

Recipe Tip: Ground Bison meat instead of ground beef is also a great way to make the burgers in this recipe.

Hamburger Grilling Recipes and Tips #5: The Classic Burger

What you will need:

2 pounds of ground beef 1 small onion finely chopped 4 tablespoons of fine bread crumbs 1 lightly beaten egg 1 finely chopped chili pepper (optional) 1 tablespoon of salt 1 tablespoon of mustard or mustard powder 1 teaspoon of black pepper 2 crushed garlic cloves 1 pack of hamburger buns

Mix all ingredients in a bowl. Take about 1/4 pound and make into burger patties. Oil the grill grate and place the patties.

Cook each side for 5 minutes flipping the burger only once.

Put on bun, add whatever toppings your heart desires, and enjoy your delicious Classic Burger.

Burger Tip: 1/4 pound of meat is typical for making homemade burgers. However many pounds of meat you are using multiply by 4 and that will be the approximate servings out of the batch.

Preparation Tip: Wet your hands before making the patties. It reduces the handling time and sticking.
